For Maths Week in P3 we carried out an investigation called 'Legs, Legs, Legs!'. We had some ducks and dogs in a garden and the total number of legs was 10. We had to work out how many ducks and how many dogs there could be in the garden. We also tried only ducks and found there would be 5 ducks to total 10 legs. This did not work with only dogs though. As an extension, we tried making Odd Bods (3 legs) and working out how many would be in the garden if there were 15 legs.
